Announcement
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that our beloved elder brother Prof. Hari Datt Bist passed away peacefully at his residence at Tikonia (Haldwani), Uttarakhand this evening (13th Dec. 2025) at 6 PM in presence of the family members and his children. Prof. Bist retired from IIT Kanpur 30 years back. Late Prof. Bist was (on deputation) the former Head, Physics Dept (1977-79), and Head of Institution (1977-79) in D.S.B Campus, Kumaun University, Nainital . We pray for the peace of the departed soul.
